Our Aledo High school Swimcats put in an amazing performance at the invitational 10/14-15/2022! Out of 12 high schools AHS was 4th overall despite not having any points for diving! Very strong showing from our swimmers!
A special swimmer needs to be recognized out of the group for breaking the school record, yet again, in both 200 Free and 500 Free. Sophmore swimmer Haley Roberson shattered both of her records from last year at this meet. Swimming a 1:58.01 in 200 Free besting her previous record of 2:01.69 and swimming a 5:17.73 in 500 Free besting her record of 5:19.54!
Also of note was Senior swimmer Sam Ogden who took first place in both 100 Free and 100 Back.
Our boys relay team also put in a great swim taking second place in the team 200 Medley relay.
We also had several swimmers in the top three:
Tanner Howse 2nd overall in 100 Butterfly and 3rd overall in 200 Free
Kyle Scharlow 3rd overall in 50 Free
Corah Satterfiled 3rd overall in 100 Back
