UIL District 5-5A Championships Swim Meet

AHS took district championships in 9 events, had 7 girls and 4 boys qualify for regionals in individual events, set two new school records and won 2nd place overall for girls, and 3rd place overall for boys.
Here are the highlights:
New AHS School record for Boys 200 Medley and Freestyle relays! 200 Medley relay with a time of 1:43.79" breaking the record from 2009 and 200 Freestyle relay with a time of 1:36.06" breaking the record from 2012. Both relays were comprised of the same swimmers; Seniors Tanner Howse & Sam Ogden, and Juniors Porter Lane & Kyle Scharlow.

District Champions:
Girls Team 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle relays (Sophomores Victoria Crews & Haley Roberson & Corah Satterfield and Freshman Natalie Hutson)
Boys Team 200 Medley relay (Seniors Tanner Howse & Sam Ogden, and Juniors Porter Lane & Kyle Scharlow)
Tanner Howse 200 Freestyle and 100 Butterfly
Sam Ogden 100 Backstroke and 100 Freestyle
Haley Roberson 200 Individual Medley and 500 Freestyle
