On Friday, February 10 the Aledo varsity tennis team competed in a tournament hosted by Birdville ISD. Temperatures in the 40’s and skilled competition led to a challenging tournament, but a great effort was made by all team members. Paige Federman and Elli Kate Bussmeir won 3rd place in Girls A Doubles, and the Boys A Doubles pair of Francois Britz and Ibrahim Choudhry won the consolation bracket. The mixed doubles pair of Bryanna Orr and Scott Mason placed 4th, and the boys doubles pair of Hogan Posey and Craig Mason placed 5th.

The team will compete in the Timber Creek tournament on Thursday February 16.
