On Thursday February 16th, Aledo Varsity tennis competed in a tournament hosted by Timber Creek High School. Sixteen schools were represented with 32 teams/individuals competing in each division. The first round of competition determined if teamsPic competed in the A Bracket or the B Bracket. Despite temperatures in the 40’s and brutal winds, many of our team adapted and persevered to claim victories.

Hogan Posey and Craig Mason battled five teams to claim 1st place in Boys A Doubles, two of which were the top duos from Southlake Carroll. Kenley Germany won 2nd place in Girls A Singles. Francois Britz and Ibrahim Choudhry placed 3rd in Boys B Doubles.

Other Top 10 finishes included Bryanna Orr and Scott Mason at 4th place in Mixed A Doubles; Paige Federman and Elli Kate Bussmeir at 5th place in Girls A Doubles and Benjamin Farmer at 7th place in Boys A Singles.

The team will compete in the Cowtown Classic on February 24-25th.
