The Aledo Cross Country teams had another great week of racing. The JV teams competed in the Granbury Race for the Loot at the Granbury Disc Golf Course. Both groups competed in the Varsity division and did tremendously well! Standouts for the JV this week were Landon Eaton (35th) and Sadie Williams (31st).
The Varsity teams traveled to Fayetteville, Arkansas to compete in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival – held at the University of Arkansas. The weather was humid, but not as hot. The competition was unbelievable, with teams from several states competing. The Bearcats and Ladycats both gave it all they had – which is what we do!! Their results certainly speak for themselves!
Extremely proud of all of our runners! They put in an incredible amount of work and mileage every week – and it is really paying off!

The Bearcats and Ladycats will not have a meet next week. Our next meet will be the District 5-5A Cross Country Championships at Central Park in White Settlement. This meet is on Friday, October 13th. Come out and cheer our teams on to victory!!
