The Aledo Cross Country teams competed this morning in the District 5-5A Championships at Central Park (White Settlement). It was a tough course, and very windy, but the teams competed really well! The Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys, and JV Boys are all District Champions, with the JV Girls finishing in 3rd place. Micah Neal is the girls District MVP, as well as being Freshman of the Year. Jack Fink is the boys District MVP. Fantastic showing by all! Results were as follows:

The Varsity Teams now advance to the Region 1 Cross Country Championships in Lubbock Texas. Both teams will race on Monday, October 23rd. The Girls will race at 9am, and the boys at 9:30am. This meet is held at Mae Simmins Park in Lubbock.
