It was another great week for Aledo Cross Country! The Varsity teams traveled to Texas A&M University on Thursday/Friday to compete in the Texas A&M Invitational. It was an incredible day, with much lower temperatures during the races. Both teams competed extremely well, given this was the first time the Cross Country teams have competed in this meet. The Varsity girls came away as TEAM CHAMPIONS, while the Varsity Boys finished 10th overall. Everyone ran very good times.
The JV teams competed Saturday morning at the Paschal Invitational. Both the boys and girls JV teams competed in the Varsity division at this meet. The girls finished 17th overall, while the boys finished 19th. Once again, everyone ran good times (in the mud).
Very proud of all of these runners, as they continue to improve weekly. Complete results were as follows:
